Privacy Policy

Ecoxee ("we", "us", "our") operates ecoxee.com. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit the site and how we use it. By using Ecoxee, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Analytics data. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, and time on the site — collected using cookies and processed by Google on our behalf.
• Comments. When you leave a comment, we collect the name you enter, your comment, and, if you provide it, your email address. Comments are stored on our behalf by Supabase and held for moderation before they appear. Your email address is never published.
• Affiliate links. Some links on Ecoxee are affiliate links. When you click one, the retailer (for example Amazon) may set a cookie to attribute any resulting purchase to us. That process is governed by the retailer's own privacy policy; see our Affiliate Disclosure.
• Email. If you email us at support@ecoxee.com, we receive the details you choose to share, such as your email address and message.
• Server logs. Our host (Vercel) may automatically record standard technical information such as IP address and request time.

Cookies

Ecoxee uses cookies for analytics (Google Analytics), and affiliate retailers may set their own cookies when you click an affiliate link. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, and where consent is required in your region — such as the EU or UK — we will honour the appropriate mechanism. We do not currently display third-party advertising; if we introduce it in future, we will update this policy and add our advertising partner's vendor list here.

How we use information

To operate and improve the site, understand our audience, publish and moderate comments, and attribute affiliate referrals.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that help us run the site — analytics (Google), hosting (Vercel), and comment storage (Supabase) — who process it on our behalf, and with affiliate retailers to the extent that you click their links.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or the CCPA/CPRA in California — you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, or to have a comment removed, contact us at support@ecoxee.com.

Children's privacy

Ecoxee is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above reflects the current version.
